Fire Kirin App Update Check

"The game will not open" often turns out to be an outdated Fire Kirin app. A quick update check solves most of these messages.

Signs of an old version

The app hangs on the loading screen, shows a message about a new version, or opens but cannot log in while other players are fine. When several players report the same at once, an update is likely.

Confirm before telling players

Check on your own device or ask your supplier whether a new version is out and where it should come from. Do not forward a download from an unknown group.

Steps for players

1. Note the username and password somewhere safe.
2. Uninstall the old app.
3. Install from the link you send.
4. Log in and check the balance matches the last screenshot.

Balances are not affected

Updating or reinstalling does not touch the account balance. Say this upfront; it removes most of the anxiety.

Android and iPhone

Android may ask for permission to install from outside the store. iPhone routes differ. Know both answers before the questions arrive.

Announce it once

Post one clear message with the date and link, pin it, and point latecomers to it rather than writing the steps again.

Keep a note of versions

Write down the date of each update you pass on. When a player returns after weeks away and cannot log in, that note tells you instantly whether they missed an update or whether something else is wrong.
